Top Tools Apps Performance on Android in Spain, Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the tools app category in Spain exhibited varied performance across the top applications on the Android platform. Based on data from Sensor Tower, we provide insights into the weekly downloads, active users, and revenue trends for these apps.

MiDNI saw a significant start to the quarter with over 215K downloads in the first week of April. However, this number gradually declined, stabilizing around 36K by the end of June. Active users fluctuated, starting at approximately 101K and peaking at 128K in early April, before experiencing a slight decline to around 81K by the end of the quarter.

Certificado digital FNMT maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with a peak of about 55K in early April. Active user numbers were robust, beginning at 204K and reaching a high of 216K in mid-June, indicating consistent engagement.

For mi DGT, downloads varied, starting at 56K and fluctuating around 42K towards the end of the quarter. Active users remained strong, consistently exceeding 1M, with minor fluctuations throughout the period.

The QR & Barcode Scanner app experienced a stable download pattern, beginning with 38K and maintaining around 37K by quarter-end. Active users showed resilience, peaking at over 1.65M in the final week of June.

Finally, PDF Viewer: PDF Fill & Sign had a mixed performance. Downloads started at 65K but declined sharply to 5K by the end of June. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at 135K and decreasing to 75K.
